Etoloakarnania - Chiliadou

One of many villages of the plain of Mornos. This small lowland vollage is surrounded by vast cultivable lands and it stands cornered a the side of the plain next to the sea.

At the entrance of the village one meets low two-story houses with red tile roofs that reach the beachside, 2klm. long, refuge for the fishingboats, rich in hotels, fishtaverns, beach bars and cafes that satisfy the needs of every visitor.

Etoloakarnania - Monastiraki

The picturesque seaside village of Monastiraki is built in an amphitheatric manner, with traditional houses, offers moments of peace and relaxation to every visitor. One of its main characteristics is the small port with fishtaverns where anyone can enjoy good food next to the sea. Etoloakarnania - Astakos

Astakos is a town of the Aetoloacarnania prefecture, built at an altitude of 10m. from the narrow end of the homonymous bay and has a population of 2,538 inhabitans. It is the capital of the municipality of Astakos and among its sights, overgrown landscapes, monasteries and historic sites are included. Astakos used to be a great exporting centre of acorn from the nearby oak tree forest, Xiromerou, while in recent years it anticipates an economical development due to the completion and operation of the new port of Platugiali .

Etoloakarnania - Vonitsa Town

Vonitsa is a coastland town built on the south side of Ambracian Gulf. Main sight of the city is the Venetian castle, which is one of the best preserved castles in Greece. In the area there are also many old temples while the beautiful little island in the bay, which is connected to the city through a small bridge, is ideal for walks.
