Kassiopi is located on a beautiful landscape in the northeast corner of the island, about 30 kilometres from the town and airport.

The traditional village surrounds the peninsula at the bay of Agios Georgios at north-western Corfu, 35 km away from Corfu town and the airport. The village has a panoramic view over the bay of St. George and is referred to as the capital of Byzantine Dekarchia according to a document in 1200 AD. Dominant surname in the village is Gialopsos.

The village’s church is Agios Nikolaos, built on the 14th century. It is a preserved village with characteristics streets, houses and mansion of the early 20th century.
