Ionian & Kythira Islands Beaches - Navagio Beach (Zakinthos Island)
Another worthwhile sight on Zakinthos, which has made the rounds of the island through postcards that represent it on every occasion, is the Navagio (Shipwreck) on its west side. Definitely one of the most famous and the most photographed beaches in Greece. Before entering this beach, you should leave your car on the flat area and walk towards the cliff. You can also go by the sea taking part in one of the excursions which are organized in Zakinthos or Laganas. There is a boat from the port of St. Nicholas in Volimes or Porto Vromi.

Halkos beach is located just a few kilometres from Hora. The well known pebbled beach has crystal clear waters.

Agios Georgios is located in one of the largest bays on Corfu island and if you come from Paleokastritsa you can have a really stunning view of the beach. It is so long that you can always find privacy and relaxation. You can, also, find beach-umbrellas and deck-chairs for rent, also water sports are available during the high season and the possibility to rent windsurfing equipment on the most windy days.
